Alberta Government OH&S recognized. Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering many aspects of First aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an understanding of first aid including topics such as Spinal injuries, environmental emergencies, Bone and Joint injuries, Abdominal and Chest injuries, Burns and respiratory emergencies, and much more. Certification expires 3 years after completion. Course Length is 16 hours (Estimated Time includes breaks and a full class of 12).

There are no prerequisites to take Standard first aid. Once the course is completed you will receive a Standard First aid, CPR “C”, and AED certificate that is good for 3 years.

The full Standard First Aid Course takes approximately 16 Hours including tests and breaks based on a class of twelve people.
