Alberta Government OH&S recognized. Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering many aspects of First aid and CPR. This course is for those who an understanding of first aid such as Medical/Legal Aspects, Spinal injuries, environmental emergencies, Bone and Joint injuries, Abdominal and Chest injuries, Burns and respiratory emergencies and much more. Certified for 3 Years. Course Length is 16 hours (Estimated Time includes breaks and a full class of 12).
There are no pre-requisites to take Standard first aid. Once the course is completed you will recitative a Standard First aid, CPR c and AED certificate that is good for 3 years.
The full Standard First Aid Course takes approximately 16 Hours including tests and breaks based on a class of twelve people.
